Job summary
Avanzar San Antonio Facility is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to optimize molding processes, troubleshoot production challenges, and support new product launches. You will work on 3rd shift, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality, safety, and efficiency across manufacturing operations.
The role requires 2+ years of injection molding experience, an associate degree (preferred), and hands-on knowledge of Husky/Haitian machines, Sepro robots, and automation
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret process data and make informed decisions in manufacturing.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Start, monitor, and optimize injection molding processes to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Adjust machine parameters and recommend improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Monitor molding operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
- Investigate non-conformances and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support setup, startup, and validation of new molds, tools, and trials.
- Optimize robot programming and automation to reduce cycle times.
- Ensure compliance with gripper and automation standards.
- Champion a strong safety culture and OSHA/EPA/TCEQ compliance.
