Job summary

Biomerics is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician in Mebane, NC to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. You will set up molds, run machines, perform preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven adjustments.

The role requires strong communication, English proficiency, and the ability to work night shifts, overtime, and weekends. Training in RJG, blueprint reading, and belt certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding and troubleshooting in plastics.
• Able to train and be trained; growth mindset.
• English language skills: speak, read, write.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all safety standards; report concerns.
• Set up molds and machines per established processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Support mold changes, machine operation, and production needs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas per 5S standards.
• Adjust machine settings to resolve defects while maintaining cycle time.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and optimize molding processes using data-driven adjustments.
• Develop and refine processes to meet KPIs.
• Monitor schedules and address production challenges.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support team development.
