Job summary

Biomerics in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Mold Press Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on injection molding presses and associated equipment. You will ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and production-ready while minimizing downtime.

You will collaborate with Molding, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities to support production requirements and drive continuous improvement Initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining injection molding presses, preferably Sodick or similar.
• Experience with hydraulic and/or electric injection molding machines.
• Experience with machine controls, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial automation.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical device manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, and Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on injection molding presses and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system issues and implement timely repairs.
• Document maintenance activities, parameters, and best practices for future repeatability.
• Collaborate with Molding, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities to support production needs and improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Molding department.
