Biomerics is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The role focuses on optimizing production, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include setting up molds, preventive maintenance, process troubleshooting, and collaboration with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• Proven processing experience with troubleshooting in Plastics.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak).
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards and report concerns.
• Set up molds and machines per processes to ensure quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot downtime.
• Support mold changes, machine operation, and production needs.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
• Adjust machine settings to resolve defects and control cycle times.
• Assist with material handling and training of new team members.
• Set up robotic part-handling systems and support teamwork with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize molding processes using data-driven adjustments.
• Develop and refine processes to meet KPIs and production schedules.
• Support team development and communicate with leadership and engineering.

Description

We are looking for a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role is key to optimizing production, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all safety standards; report any concerns promptly
• Set up molds and machines per established processes to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Support mold changes, machine operation, and production needs as required
• Maintain clean, organized work areas in line with 5S standards
• Adjust machine settings to resolve defects while maintaining cycle time
• Assist with material handling and training of new team members
• Set up and fine-tune robotic part-handling systems
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to resolve production issues
• Troubleshoot and optimize molding processes using data-driven adjustments
• Develop and refine processes to meet performance targets (KPIs)
• Monitor schedules and proactively address production challenges
• Support team development and provide guidance to junior staff
• Communicate effectively with leadership and engineering to drive improvements

Requirements

• Good Communication Skills
• The ability to Speak, Read and Write in English
• Processing experience with a trouble shooting background in Plastics.
• The ability to train and be trained to continue Growth in Field
• Computer literacy
• Ability to lift 50 LBS
• Ability to Stand for Long periods of time.
• Basic Math
• Ability to work night shift, overtime and weekends as needed.

Preferred:

• RJG Decoupled Molding Training (Sys 1, Master Molder 1)
• Basic Blueprint reading
• White Belt and Yellow Belt Training
