Medical Device Company is seeking an Injection Mold Process Technician for a 12‑month contract in Research Triangle Park, NC. The role covers mold setup, changeovers, process development for prototypes and production, and ongoing troubleshooting to meet quality requirements.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of injection molding experience, strong math and reading skills, and a mechanical background in plastics. On-site position with 40 hours per week; safety and housekeeping are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of injection molding process experience required.
• Strong reading, writing and arithmetic skills are necessary.
• Mechanical abilities and plastics injection molding knowledge preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct mold and material changeovers.
• Develop new mold processes for prototypes and production molds.
• Ensure mold setup, changeovers and housekeeping standards.
• Verify process parameters and implement changes.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding equipment.
• Follow safety, quality and work rules; report issues.
