Biomerics in North Carolina is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. You will set up molds, perform preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong plastics processing experience, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others. Night shift, overtime, and weekend availability may be required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Clear communication in English; able to read blueprints and process documentation.
• Experience in plastic molding environments with troubleshooting background.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds and machines per established processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Support mold changes, machine operation, and production needs as required.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas in line with 5S standards.
• Adjust machine settings to resolve defects while maintaining cycle time.
• Assist with material handling and training of new team members.
• Set up and fine-tune robotic part-handling systems.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to resolve production issues.
• Troubleshoot and optimize molding processes using data-driven adjustments.
• Develop and refine processes to meet performance targets (KPIs).
• Monitor schedules and proactively address production challenges.
• Support team development and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and engineering to drive improvements.
