Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. in Winchester, VA is hiring an Injection Machine Operator to safely run injection molding machines, cranes, and related equipment to produce preforms and parts that meet quality standards.

You will monitor feeds, perform changeovers, test for quality, document results, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with safety rules and production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety rules.
• Basic math skills and data recording for production and quality information.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn injection molding equipment.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and crane systems.
• Monitor resin feeds and coordinate color changes per Production Scheduling.
• Verify product conformance to quality specs and report issues.
• Troubleshoot minor process/equipment problems and perform calibration checks.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and document production, scrap, and quality data.
