Responsibilities

• Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below
• Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation
• Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly
• Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed
• Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA. (hourly checks)
• Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards
• Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns
• Evaluate and document machine performance
• Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment
• Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
• Start up Injection molding machines
• Clean out grinders
• Trouble shoot minor machine/part issues
