Job summary

Clayens NP Group is seeking a Mold Setter Level I in Greeneville, TN to set up, adjust, and maintain molding equipment for efficient production. You will work with injection molding machines to prepare molds, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime and defects.

The role requires reading technical documents, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or molding environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and install molds on injection molding machines according to specifications and production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molding equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Monitor machine operation during production runs to detect and resolve minor issues promptly.
• Adjust mold settings and machine parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production goals and adhere to safety standards.
• Loads programs for Robots and Machines.
• Promptly addresses all buzzers, alarms and red lights.
• Keeps all areas within responsibility neat, clean and organized at all times.
• Maintains compliance with company safety, housekeeping, rules and procedures to help maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
• Ensures that practices are compliant with the applicable quality system requirements.
