Job summary

Rehrig Pacific is seeking a Production Lead to serve as a point person for the Shift Supervisor and Manager, overseeing injection molding lines and ensuring smooth, safe production. You will coach operators, troubleshoot, and prepare the floor for each shift.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior team-leader experience in manufacturing, and forklift certification. You will use Excel/Word/PowerPoint and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Previous experience as a team leader in a manufacturing environment.
• Two years of injection molding experience preferred.
• Must pass forklift driving test and operate safely daily.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
• Physically able to lift up to 30-40 lbs and perform duties that involve pushing, pulling, and reaching up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee machine setups and production changeovers to meet customer specs.
• Support and guide machine operators to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Perform operator duties when needed and assist with troubleshooting.
• Prepare the floor for each shift by ensuring machines, materials, and components are ready.
• Lead safety and 5S initiatives to keep our work environment clean and efficient.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
