Alcon USA in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Mold Repair Technician to inspect, disassemble, diagnose and repair injection molds (multi-cavity, hot runner). You will work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to troubleshoot issues, document actions in Maximo, and maintain tooling performance.

The role requires hands-on mold repair and precision toolmaking, reading CAD drawings and engineering specs, and a systematic root-cause approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hands-on injection mold repair and precision toolmaking experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models; perform root-cause analysis.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and repair molds to restore spec and extend life.
• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of tools per SOPs.
• Document maintenance, repairs and PMs in Maximo (CMMS) for traceability.
• Communicate mold conditions, repair status and root-cause findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Quality to resolve tooling issues.
