Job summary

Resource Professional Solutions is seeking an Injection Molding Tooling Repair Technician in Humble, TX. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds and related tooling to keep production running smoothly and quality high.

Work with Process Technicians, Maintenance, Quality, Production, and Engineering to identify mold issues and implement long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with injection mold maintenance, repair, or related technical field.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand dimensional requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• 3+ years of injection molding tooling repair or mold maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on injection molds according to PM schedules.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble molds.
• Troubleshoot mold-related issues affecting production and part quality.
• Inspect and maintain mold components, hot runner systems, and cooling circuits.
• Document repairs and maintain tooling maintenance history.
• Assist with mold modifications and engineering changes.
• Ensure molds are safe, reliable, and production-ready.
