Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician III (2nd Shift) in London, OH, to repair and maintain injection mold tooling, reduce downtime, and ensure cost-effective production. The role collaborates with QC/QA to verify repairs meet specs and trains hourly associates on maintenance procedures.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of tool and die experience with strong mold knowledge, plus hands-on skills in manual tooling, TIG welding, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tool and die experience (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of injection molds.
• Setup and operation of manual machine tools.
• TIG welding, die spotting, and handwork/polishing skills.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Solid written and verbal communication.
• Ability to plan, organize, and work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain injection mold tooling to reduce downtime and keep production cost-effective
• Perform advanced repair work that meets quality standards
• Work with QC and QA to confirm repairs meet spec
• Train hourly associates on repair and maintenance
• Support the Die Mold Maintenance Coordinator to keep the department running smoothly
