Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Tool Repair Technician (Mold Maker) to build and repair tools, ensuring productivity and quality. The role supports internal/external customers and requires strong mold making and maintenance skills in a plastics environment.

Responsibilities include tooling upkeep, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with engineers to implement process improvements, while maintaining safe, organized work areas and accurate repair records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with plastic injection molds and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in mold making/repair.
• Experience reading tooling prints, hydraulic and electrical circuit prints/diagrams.
• Must have own toolbox and assorted mold making/repair tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools in optimal operating condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist in trouble shooting and repairing tools.
• Follow internal tooling procedures and safety rules.
• Record tool repairs and changes accurately and timely.
