Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center is seeking an Infusion nurse to provide direct patient care within established policies and protocols. The role emphasizes coordination of care, education, and discharge planning in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, documenting patient status, and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. The position is full-time at 0.9 FTE with standard hospital shifts.

Qualifications

• RN - Licensed in Kentucky required upon hire.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required within 45 days of employment.
• ADN or Diploma in Nursing required at hire; BSN required within 5 years.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Coordinates care with all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with patient/family.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education based on age and culture.
• Performs duties in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
