Job summary

CBC Oncology Center is hiring an Infusion RN for full-time day shifts in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on direct patient care, chemotherapy administration, and education for adult and geriatric patients within an oncology setting.

Strong collaboration with physicians, pharmacists, and social workers is expected. Requirements include a KY RN license, BSN preferred, and at least 1 year Med-Surg or ED experience; oncology experience and chemotherapy certification are preferred or obtainable

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• KY RN license active.
• Minimum 1 year Med-Surg or ED experience.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• BCLS required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred, during orientation or within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient status and labs.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients regarding care and symptom management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team including physicians, pharmacists, and social workers.
• Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills.
• Maintain compliance with oncology nursing guidelines.
