Job summary

BrightStar Care is hiring a Registered Infusion Nurse (RN) to provide in-home infusion therapies and nursing care. You will evaluate and monitor patients, document vitals, and ensure high-quality care per care plans.

The role emphasizes compassionate, one-to-one patient interactions and strict adherence to health records and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state you are applying.
• 1 year of nursing experience; critical care preferred.
• IV insertion skills required.
• Infusion experience in home or clinical setting preferred; on-site training provided.
• Physical and TB screen within the last year.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Registered Infusion Nurse (RN) Job Duties:

• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’s nurse practice act, in the clients home
• Perform infusions in the home setting
• Monitor patient’s condition and complete vitals
• Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill.
• Assures proper maintenance of electronic health record compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
