Job summary

Confidential in Lewiston, Maine, seeks an Oncology Registered Nurse to provide infusion care, administer chemotherapy and monitor patients in an infusion setting. This 12-week assignment offers days shifts, weekly pay, and supportive career specialists.

You must hold an active state RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, with at least one year of oncology experience; the role emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, and coordination with the oncology care team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• ACLS certification upon hire.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care
