Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to join our partner hospital in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment features day shifts and direct infusion‑room patient care, including chemotherapy administration and safety adherence.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of Oncology experience. You will be paid weekly, with HIPAA‑compliant documentation and a supportive oncology team.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required on hire.
• Minimum of one year of RN oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
