Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts are Days with pay up to $064 per hour, and weekly pay is offered. This role requires current RN license and oncology infusion experience.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS (AHA) certification.
Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
Minimum one year RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
