Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will provide infusion-oncology care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and monoclonal therapies, assessing patients, and documenting and communicating with the care team. Requires active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 1 year oncology experience. Compensation is paid weekly and per-shift pay ranges from $56.00 to $64.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
