Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Nursing Support Supervisor in New York City to assist the Area Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager, overseeing schedulers and clerks. The role ensures compliant delivery of prescribed therapies and coordination with patients and clinicians.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of home health care experience, and at least 1 year in a supervisory role. A valid driver's license and transportation are required; remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of home health care experience providing infusion/related nursing care.
• At least 1 year of experience directly or indirectly managing people, OR at least 3 years of nursing experience with progression.
• Access to reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Experience with local/state/federal rules and OSHA regulations.
• Experience in customer service and coordinating with internal/external customers.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff arranging patient care.
• Supervises, monitors and evaluates quality and effectiveness of patient care across the support team.
• Handles patient complaints or issues for resolution or escalation.
• Monitors staffing needs and scheduling and coordinates with operations.
• Assists with coordination of nursing services and conference calls as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
