Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation's largest home and alternate site infusion services provider, seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and deliver intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite under a physician's plan.

Based in Tampa, FL, you will work under supervision to ensure patient safety and continuity of care. As a licensed RN, you will initiate and adapt care plans, educate patients and families, document in real-time for billing, and mentor Infusion Nurse I's

Qualifications

• Infusion Nurse II must be a licensed registered nurse.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I's.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient information.
• Documents care in real-time and adheres to billing timelines.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments and evaluates patient progress.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit; re-evaluates.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I's.
• Educates patients and families/caregivers for independence with prescribed therapy.
• Communicates with Clinical team, medical providers, patients and families to facilitate continuity of care.
• Prepares clinical documentation in real-time during visits for billing timelines.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries.
• Ensures compliance with agency policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maximizes work efficiency using computers to validate plan of treatment orders.
• Responds to patient requests and initiates emergency procedures when needed.
• Oversees paraprofessionals in home settings and may act as Supervisor.
