Option Care Health is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite, ensuring patient safety under a physician’s plan of care.

Licensed RNs with 1+ year of nursing experience and CPR certification are encouraged to apply. This role requires travel to patient homes and adherence to HIPAA, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and communicates with physician as needed.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s to ensure safety and compliance.
• Educates patients and families for independence with prescribed therapy and care needs.
• Documents care in real-time and submits to nursing for billing and compliance.
