Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suites under a physician's plan of care. You will work under structured supervision to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Travel up to 100% may be required as part of patient care delivery. Benefits include 401k, myFlexPay, and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and updates physician orders as needed.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Provides effective patient and family teaching to achieve independence with prescribed therapy and care needs.
• Documents care in real-time and coordinates with clinical teams for billing and continuity of care.
