Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite, under a physician’s plan of care. Licensed RN, with strong clinical skills, you’ll work under supervision to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, administering medications, teaching patients and families, communicating with the clinical team, and documenting care in real time.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments; educates patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs and status at each visit; re-evaluates and documents changes.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Communicates with the clinical team and patients to ensure continuity of care.
• Documents care in real-time and submits records for timely billing.
