Job summary

Option Care Health is recruiting an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion suites. You will work under structured supervision to ensure patient safety and continuity of care under a physician’s plan.

Requirements include an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. The role involves travel to patient locations and adherence to HIPAA and billing timelines.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing care plans in the home or alternate infusion setting.
• Assesses patient needs, coordinates with physician orders, and documents care in a timely manner.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I and other staff as needed.
• Coordinates discharge planning and ensures financial/billing documentation accuracy.
