Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in home or infusion suites, ensuring patient safety under a physician’s plan of care. Works under supervision of the designated supervisor.

The role involves administering treatments, educating patients and families, and ensuring compliant documentation while coordinating with the clinical team. Travel to home visits is expected as part of patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have access to a vehicle and valid liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and re-evaluates as needed.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicates with clinical team, patients, and families to facilitate continuity of care.
• Prepares clinical documentation in real-time and ensures timely billing documentation.
