Job summary

Option Care Health seeks an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or in an infusion suite under physician oversight. You will ensure patient safety, follow a structured plan of care, and support the clinical team across cases.

You will train Infusion Nurse I staff, educate patients and families, document care in real time, and assist with discharge planning while upholding HIPAA and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s.
• Prepares clinical documentation in real-time for billing and compliance.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares summaries with patient instructions.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and maintains HIPAA compliance.
