The role includes assisting patients with copay programs and handling prior authorizations with insurers.

The candidate will support claims follow-up, communicate financial information to billing staff, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years infusion intake experience preferred.
• Experience with payer benefits and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Review infusion orders and verify patient benefits.
• Assist with foundation copay programs and patient assistance.
• Obtain prior-authorization for infusion services and submit forms.
• Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding coverage and deductibles.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and billing requirements.
