Job summary

Amerita in Irving, TX is seeking an RN for infusion care in patients’ homes, Monday–Friday evenings (12pm–8pm). This full-time role includes on-call rotation and requires a valid RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with preferred infusion/home health background.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing the Plan of Care, coordinating with pharmacy and providers, and educating patients and families while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance with

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one year experience as an RN.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and establishes the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to infusion nursing and home health policies and laws.
• Maintains adherence to INS, IgNS, CDC standards and ANA code of ethics.
• Collaborates with pharmacy, sales, and providers to monitor therapies.
• Documents patient care in home or AIS records.
• Manages vascular access devices and peripheral venipuncture.
• Educates patients and caregivers; tracks progress toward goals.
• Coordinates with home health and community agencies; participates in on-call rotations.
