Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to elevate infusion therapy care. You will coordinate referrals, obtain authorizations, conduct financial counseling, and manage benefit investigations to ensure timely access for our patients.

This full-time onsite role at our Largo, FL center offers predictable hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) and a starting salary of $25 per hour plus quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient referral coordination and insurance pre-authorizations.
• Ability to read medical charts.
• Strong understanding of insurance benefits and benefits investigations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Comfort communicating with clinicians and patients.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in medical documentation.
• Willingness to learn new software/applications quickly.

The Role

We’re looking for an Insurance & Intake Coordinator -- an "Infusion Guide" -- who is passionate about raising the bar in infusion therapy care.

The Infusion Guide will contribute to the company’s growth through detailed referral and intake coordination along with excellent customer and physician customer service. The Infusion Guide will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy.

This is a Full-Time position located onsite at our Largo, FL center, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The ideal candidate will have prior experience reading medical charts and working on insurance pre-authorizations. The Infusion Guide role is perfect for those wishing to remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation, while having predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload.

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation

All Intake Coordinator's must provide documentation of a negative TB test (within the last two years), and a current BLS certification. Hepatitis B and influenza vaccination records are also requested as part of the onboarding process.
