Job summary

System Support is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for the Infusion/Oncology Outpatient Services. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7AM-5:30PM.

The PCC will perform administrative and limited clinical duties under RN supervision in a fast-paced outpatient infusion setting. The position requires high school completion, BLS CPR certification, and potential direct patient care experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required prior to orientation.
• Preferred direct patient care experience in medical settings.
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Strong customer service and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient data entry in the hospital system (ADT).
• Schedule appointments and manage registrations for infusion/oncology patients.
• Verify insurance benefits and generate ABN where applicable.
• Collect and enter financial and demographic information for registration.
• Prepare patient charts and MSP processing as needed.
• Assist patients to and from the department and record vital signs under RN supervision.
• Stock and order supplies; maintain regulatory compliance and privacy standards.
