Job summary

Atrium Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for the Infusion/Oncology Outpatient Infusion Services. The PCC acts as the first point of contact, handling administrative and some clinical duties under RN supervision in a fast-paced department.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask, and adherence to privacy and regulatory standards. The shift is 7AM-5:30PM, Monday–Friday, with a full-time 40 hours per week schedule.

Qualifications

• High School completion or GED is required.
• Experience in patient care or medical office/clinic is preferred.
• Healthcare terminology knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming calls and schedule appointments for patients.
• Enter patient data and charges into the hospital system (ADT).
• Verify insurance benefits and collect financial/demographic information.
• Assist with registration, MSP, ABN generation, pre-certification and consents.
• Prepare patient charts and provide clerical support per regulatory requirements.
• Assist patients with mobility and transport within the department as needed.
