Qualifications

• Preferred Experience: 2 years healthcare or clinical experience, medical terminology helpful.
• Other skills & knowledge: Telephone etiquette, customer service, computer skills; knowledge of business machines and keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for procedures and obtain necessary documentation for authorization.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and staff via phone, fax, and email.
• Prepare patients for visits and document vitals in the EHR.
• Create referrals and verify CPT codes for procedures.
• Enter physician orders and retrieve reports in the EHR system.
• Coordinate scheduling details for equipment, resources, and supplies.
