Report in location: 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223
Work Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday; May be on call 24 hrs./7 days.)

What you'll do as an Infrastructure Specialist 2:
  • Independently installs, monitors &/or maintains, configures, upgrades, &/or Administers &/or operates assigned multiple technology domains.
  • Installs, maintains, configures, upgrades &/or administers hardware &/or software independently in workstation support, server support, business continuity, information security support, telecommunications & network connectivity, where technical work requires specific knowledge to evaluate, select, adapt & modify standard procedures.
  • Diagnoses, analyzes & resolves issues for customer(s) across assigned multiple technology domains.
  • Performs desktop support which includes but is not limited to hardware, software, printers, network connectivity & any peripherals; Installs configurations & basic use of any software.

Qualifications

Option 1:

48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

Option 2:

-Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems

AND 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

Option 3:-Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems;

AND 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
