Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) seeks an IT Monitoring Engineer to build and maintain a global log management and monitoring stack. You will investigate anomalies, document changes, and design monitoring requirements in collaboration with development and operations teams.

The role requires Linux, Python, Perl, and Java proficiency, plus experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or similar tools, and Splunk/ELK certifications. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CIS, engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with Linux, Python, Perl, and Java scripting.
Administration experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or similar APM tools.
Certification in Splunk, ELK or other logs tools is preferred.
Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and support a global log management and monitoring infrastructure.
Investigate network and application anomalies using logs, alarms, and traces.
Document changes and write monitoring standards and practices.
Leverage tools to augment ICE's monitoring posture across the enterprise.
Design monitoring requirements with development and operations.
Implement monitoring solutions across multiple datacenters.
Serve as primary contact for monitoring across the enterprise.
