Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a technically versatile candidate to join the Infrastructure Development & Automation team in Illinois. You will build and maintain internal automation platforms, enhance monitoring tools, and contribute to internal development projects across the Infrastructure/Operations vertical.

Qualifications

• Computer Science or related field degree completed or in-progress, or equivalent experience.
• Novice-level software development skills in at least one language (Python, TypeScript, Go or C++).
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Self-organizing and proactive in task handling.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain software interfacing with servers, storage, networks, databases, and tools.
• Gather requirements from business owners and create diagrams.
• Ensure SDLC processes and releases are orderly.
• Collaborate with teams to capture correct requirements and ensure security.
• Document system components and write unit/integration tests.
• Train end-users on new tooling and improve existing ones.
• Grow ownership over tools and sub-components.
