Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct people management experience in a technical operations environment.
• Strategic thinking: connect operational metrics to business outcomes and identify systemic risks.
• Experience in production operations with monitoring and alerting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Strong Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Splunk, Nagios, BigPanda, PagerDuty).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Process-oriented with strong documentation skills (Confluence).
• Experience with automation of business continuity/disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a globally distributed team of Analysts across the US, India, and Australia; provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Identify and drive process improvements to reduce incidents, minimize toil, and increase team velocity; champion automation and data-informed decisions.
• Build team capability through structured training, documentation standards, and coaching; serve as primary escalation point for staff issues.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, infrastructure, and network teams; represent Systems Operations in cross-functional discussions.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to advance operational maturity and automate workflows including AI-enabled processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed and handle additional duties as directed by management.
