Job summary

Cengage Group in Utah seeks an experienced Infrastructure Program Manager to lead complex infrastructure initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to operations. You will coordinate engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, identity, endpoint, and vendor teams to deliver a modernized endpoint migration and ongoing modernization programs.

The role requires 8+ years in technology program management with strong planning, governance, and executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology program management experience with infrastructure delivery.
• Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives.
• Strong planning, RAID, dependency management, governance, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple technical workstreams and drive accountability without direct authority.
• Experience managing vendors, systems integrators, or managed service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and operations transition.
• Develop integrated project plans, milestones, and dependencies.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to drive delivery and resolve blockers.
• Lead modernization and migration initiatives across endpoint, cloud, networking, identity, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.
• Oversee endpoint migration activities including pilots, rollout waves, and user readiness.
• Establish governance, cadence, escalation paths, and go/no-go criteria.
• Maintain executive status reporting and delivery dashboards.
• Ensure operational readiness through documentation and knowledge transfer.
