Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking an experienced technology program manager to lead complex infrastructure initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to steady-state operations.

You will coordinate engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, network, identity, endpoint, ITSM, and vendor teams, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and delivering concise executive updates. This role demands strong planning, governance, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology program management experience with significant infrastructure delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure dependencies across networking, cloud, identity, cybersecurity, applications, and endpoint technologies.
• Proven ability to lead multiple technical workstreams and drive accountability without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects across planning, design, implementation, migration, stabilization, and closure.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, critical paths, resources, and dependencies.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and vendors to drive delivery and resolve blockers.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives across endpoint, cloud, networking, identity, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.
• Manage endpoint migration activities including pilots, rollout waves, application readiness, security dependencies, user readiness, and support transition.
• Establish governance, project cadence, escalation paths, and go/no-go criteria.
• Maintain concise executive reporting, RAG status, and delivery dashboards.
