Job summary

Cengage Group seeks an experienced technology program manager to lead complex infrastructure initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to operations. You will coordinate engineering, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, identity, endpoint, application, service management, business, and vendor teams.

The role focuses on a major endpoint migration and requires strong planning, dependency management, and operational readiness to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology program management experience with significant infrastructure delivery experience.
• Proven experience leading complex enterprise infrastructure implementations, migrations, or modernization initiatives.
• Strong project planning, RAID management, dependency management, governance, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects across planning, design, implementation, migration, stabilization, and closure.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, critical paths, resources, and dependencies.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional technical teams and vendors to drive delivery and resolve blockers.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives across endpoint, cloud, networking, identity, cybersecurity, and enterprise platforms.
• Manage endpoint migration activities including pilots, rollout waves, application readiness, security dependencies, user readiness, and support transition.
• Establish governance, project cadence, escalation paths, and go/no-go criteria.
• Maintain concise executive reporting, Red/Amber/Green (RAG) status, and delivery dashboards.
• Ensure operational readiness through support models, documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to steady-state operations.
