Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support infrastructure-driven IT projects for Fortune 500 customers. You will track documentation, gather client information, and help oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to final implementation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT project coordination, strong MS Office and MS Project skills, and experience with multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of IT Project Coordination/Project Management experience required.
Experience supporting external customers in a professional services and/or managed services environment.
Exposure to Infrastructure technology projects and project management.
Experience working as an IT project coordinator or similar role.
Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, SharePoint, Smartsheet and Outlook.
Experience with Multisite hardware deployments.
Experience with MS Project.
Experience with financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
Understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle.
Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines.
Experience with scheduling for planning, monitoring, and controlling project timelines.
Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)

Responsibilities

Tracking and understanding documentation deliverables for multiple small IT projects.
Gather documentation from the customer.
Assist with or manage the oversight of all aspects of project life cycle to include initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing; taking project through final implementation.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate skill with Microsoft Excel.
Understand project scope, and objectives.
Coordinate activities/tasks across project team roles.
Follow best practices and ensure requirements are met and documented.
Document project risks, assumptions, and constraints and aid in mitigating actions.
Monitor status of risks to minimize impact.
Manage project Budgets and financial reporting.
Use tools to identify and quantify variances.
Document measurement criteria for success with PMs or Leads.
Assist in managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs.
Capture and resolve issues; document resolutions.
Lead or participate in project meetings and follow up on actions.
Provide status updates for portfolio reviews.
Coordinate various project/program tasks.
