Job summary

Sentry is seeking an Engineering Manager for Infrastructure Engineering to lead a team building internal control platforms, configuration automation, and routing layers that power our growth. You will set technical direction, drive reliability, and collaborate across Infrastructure, Platform, and Production Engineering to scale operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
• Strong backend or full-stack background with Python.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, and systems mindset.
• Strong technical communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Proven experience delivering multi-year engineering initiatives.
• Comfortable working across org boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers building internal control platforms used by every engineering team.
• Drive evolution of platform for configuration management and routing.
• Own the team's technical direction and API/tooling design.
• Mentor engineers and nurture career development.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on ownership.
• Collaborate with Production, SRE, and Developer Infrastructure to stay aligned.
• Own reliability, adoption, and roadmap of the team's tools.
