Reddit, Inc. is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team in a centralized role supporting multiple high-impact groups, including Messaging, Site Defense, and Infrastructure Security.

The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and developer velocity across a unified tech stack. You will drive cross-functional architecture, own end-to-end delivery, and apply data-driven decisions through experiments and metrics.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience building internet-scale software and distributed systems infrastructure or infrastructure security.
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages: Golang, Python, C++, Java.
• Experience with essential cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP).
• Hands-on experience implementing features, optimizations, and bug fixes to distributed messaging systems.
• Excellent communication skills across engineering, data science, machine learning, and product teams.

• Cross-Functional Product Architecture: Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Data Science, and Client Engineers to translate needs into reliable solutions.
• End-to-End Delivery: Own full software lifecycle for major initiatives from design to rollout and observability.
