Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Managed Print Services) to implement, administer and improve the Managed Print Service across NHSL sites. You will provide specialist support for print devices and related infrastructure, ensuring security and availability in line with standards.

The role involves shift work between 8am and 6pm with potential overtime. A degree in IT, health service experience and UK/EU driving licence are preferred. Competitive NHS benefits offered.

Qualifications

Degree in IT or related field, with desktop support experience.
Additional technical training/certifications preferred.
Experience in a health service environment preferred.
May participate in eHealth on-call support (24/7).
Driving licence required (UK/EU/EEA).

Responsibilities

Provide assistance and support to NHSL employees and contractors to maximize IT desktop infrastructure use.
Manage IT Service Desk calls prioritising allocated work to meet SLAs.
Maintain high customer service standards and resolve incidents.
Deal with user complaints and escalate as needed.
