Job summary

US Diversity Job Search in Philadelphia is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I to manage secure, highly available computing platforms, servers and networks. You will install, maintain, upgrade, monitor, and optimize the operating environment while ensuring reliability, performance and security.

The role includes 24x7 on-call support, incident response, and collaboration with development and operations teams to plan growth and middleware upgrades.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
Certification or progress toward certification preferred and encouraged.
Three to five years' IT experience in a multi-site, multi-platform environment preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical leader or provide work leadership for junior staff.
Plan replacement of obsolete compute resources.
Coordinate installation of new equipment or reinstallation of relocated equipment.
Maintain knowledge of system testing and analysis.
Ensure security, data retention, and licensing compliance.
Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed during rotation.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
