Job summary

US Diversity Job Search is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I to oversee secure, highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and improve the operating environment, ensure reliability, performance, and on-call support across multiple sites and cloud resources.

You will lead incident response, implement middleware upgrades, document procedures, and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth handoffs and robust disaster recovery

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Industry certification or pursuit toward certification is preferred and encouraged.
3–5 years of IT experience in a multi-site, multi-platform environment.
Strong customer support and troubleshooting abilities required.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor operations staff and handle incident response.
Plan for replacement of obsolete compute resources and manage asset lifecycle.
Install, configure, and test server OS, networks, and related hardware.
Maintain security, data retention, and vendor licensing agreements.
Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed.
