Job summary

US Diversity Job Search is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I to maintain secure, highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. You will install, upgrade, and optimize the operating environment, respond to incidents, support on-call duties, and plan for growth across multi-cloud environments.

The role includes leading technical initiatives, coordinating new equipment installations, and ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
3-5 years IT infrastructure experience in an IT environment.
Experience with multi-cloud environments and disaster recovery.
Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills.

Responsibilities

Act as technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower level staff.
Plan for replacement of obsolete resources in compute infrastructure.
Coordinate and schedule installation of new equipment.
Maintain security, data retention policies, and licensing.
Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for supported infrastructure.
Assist development staff as technical lead for environments.
Manage and maintain current Job Scheduling software (e.g. Tidal/Control-M).
Produce periodic reports and metrics on infrastructure performance.
