Job summary

US Diversity Job Search is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I to manage secure, highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks in a multi-cloud environment. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and improve the operating environment, monitor systems, respond to incidents, and participate in disaster recovery planning.

The role requires collaboration with development and operations teams, on-call duties, and experience with middleware, job scheduling, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
• Certification or progress toward certification of, industry-recognized professional designation preferred and encouraged.
• Combinations of relevant education and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for lower level employees.
• Plan for replacement of obsolete resources that comprise compute infrastructure.
• Coordinate and schedule installation of new equipment or reinstallation of relocated equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and understanding of system testing and analysis.
• Produce periodic reports for management and staff.
